Planning Commission Minutes Page 3 of 4 August 23, 2023 <br />Chair Pace opened the public hearing. The following individuals provided comments: Michelle <br />Peterson; Meenu Gochhwal, applicant. <br />Chair Pace called a recess at 9:49 p.m. <br />Chair Pace reconvened the meeting at 10:05 p.m. <br />The following individual provided comment: Ashish Choudhary, applicant. <br />Chair Pace closed the public hearing. <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Gaidos/Mohan to adopt Resolution PC-2023-13 recommending City <br />Council approve the application for the PUD development plan with modified conditions as follows: <br />•Allow fencing approximately 10 feet in height maximum at front and rear (narrow) ends of the <br />existing tennis court. <br />•Allow fencing approximately 8 feet in height maximum on the long sides of the existing tennis <br />court, extending from the existing approximately 10-foot-tall corner poles to the service line. <br />•Vining vegetation will be planted to grow along the tennis court fencing, and tall, 5-gallon <br />minimum vegetation, such as evergreen trees, will be placed between the court and property <br />fencing. <br />•Applicant and neighbor will share repair costs for an approximately 7-foot-high solid wood fence <br />along the property line between 2207 Martin Ave and 3520 Dennis Ave. <br />•Adopt R-1-40,000 District development standards for the rest of the lot. <br />Motion passed by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Gaidos, Jain, Mohan, Morgan, and Pace <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW/ACTION/INFORMATION <br />7.Reports from Meetings Attended (e.g., Committee, Task Force, etc.) <br />Commissioner Jain reported attending the Bicycle Pedestrian and Trails Committee meeting of July 24, <br />2023, and noted an item regarding a major funding requirement for the West Las Positas Multimodal <br />Reconstruction Project. <br />8.Actions of the City Council <br />Director Ellen Clark provided a brief overview of the items listed in the report. <br />9.Future Planning Calendar <br />Director Clark provided a brief overview of the items listed in the report. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />No items to report.
