Planning Commission Minutes Page 1 of 4 August 23, 2023 <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />Wednesday, August 23, 2023 <br />CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, AND ROLL CALL <br />Chair Pace called the special meeting of the Planning Commission to order at 7:00 p.m. from the <br />Remillard Conference Room located at 3333 Busch Road and via Zoom. <br />Commissioner Gaidos led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Commissioners Present: Commissioners Anurag Jain, Vivek Mohan, Ken Morgan, Stephanie <br />Wedge (via Zoom), and Chair Brandon Pace <br />Commissioners Absent: None <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br />A.Consider the request of Commissioner Wedge to attend the meeting virtually per AB 2449 (2022) <br />due to emergency circumstances. <br />Recommendation: Approve Commissioner Wedge’s request. <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Pace/Gaidos to approve Commissioner Wedge’s request to attend the meeting <br />virtually per AB 2449 (2022) due to emergency circumstances. Motion passed by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Gaidos, Jain, Mohan, Morgan, and Pace <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />1.Actions of the Zoning Administrator <br />Recommendation: Receive report. <br />2.P23-0389, Raleigh Resnick, 6668 Owens Drive – Application for a Conditional Use Permit to <br />operate an instructional facility by the Chabad of the Tri-Valley for home/charter schooled children <br />in grades K-8th with a maximum of 49 persons at the facility at one time on the second floor of the <br />existing building located at 6668 Owens Drive <br />Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. PC-2023-12 approving the application. <br />3.Approve the meeting minutes of July 12, 2023 <br />Recommendation: Approve the meeting minutes.
