<br /> <br />Planning Commission Minutes Page 2 of 3 November 08, 2023 <br />PUBLIC HEARING AND OTHER MATTERS <br /> <br />4.PXX17-0904, Stoneridge Mall Development Agreement Extension - Application to amend and <br />extend the Stoneridge Shopping Center Development Agreement (DA), governing a previously <br />approved approximately 362,790-square-foot shopping center expansion, for one year, with a City <br />Manager option to extend the DA for one additional year subject to the completion of performance <br />standards set forth in this fifth amendment. <br /> <br />Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. PC-2023-15 recommending City Council approval of the <br />application to amend the Stoneridge Shopping Center Development Agreement to extend the term <br />for one year plus a potential further extension for an additional year. <br /> <br />Senior Planner Eric Luchini presented the item. <br /> <br />Chair Pace opened the public comment. Public comments were received by: Cecily Barclay, applicant. <br /> <br />Chair Pace closed the public comment. <br /> <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Gaidos/Jain to adopt Resolution No. PC-2023-15 recommending City Council <br />approval of the application amending and extending the term of the Stoneridge Shopping Center <br />Development Agreement, as recommended. Motion passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Commissioners Gaidos, Jain, Mohan, Morgan, and Chair Pace <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br /> <br />5.P23-0605, 2025 Santa Rita Road, Vesting Tentative Map - Application for Vesting Tentative Tract <br />Map 8676, a single lot subdivision for the purpose of creating 42 condominiums and common <br />areas. <br /> <br />Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. PC-2023-16 approving the application for Vesting <br />Tentative Map 8676. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Emily Carroll presented the item. <br /> <br />Chair Pace opened the public comment. Public comments were received by: Brian Casey; Judy Casey; <br />Joe Chillinsky; Samantha Hauser, applicant; Luke Morris, applicant; and Angela Smith. <br /> <br />Chair Pace closed the public comment. <br /> <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Jain/Pace to adopt Resolution No. PC-2023-16 approving the application, as <br />recommended. Motion passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Commissioners Gaidos, Jain, Morgan, and Chair Pace <br />Noes: Commissioner Mohan <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br /> <br />6.P23-0607 & P23-0608, Housing Element Update (HOZ) - Applications for: (1) a Municipal Code <br />Amendment to create a Housing Opportunity Zone District and Rezone all applicable Housing <br />Project Sites identified in the Housing Element to this District; and (2) a Municipal Code <br />Amendment codifying the Objective Design Standards housing sites compliance review process.
