<br /> <br />Planning Commission Minutes Page 1 of 3 March 13, 2024 <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br /> <br />Wednesday, March 13, 2024 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, AND ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Chair Gaidos called the regular meeting of the Planning Commission to order at 7:03 p.m. from the City <br />Council Chambers located at 200 Old Bernal Avenue and via teleconference at 3529 Knollwood Drive, <br />Carlsbad, CA 92010. <br /> <br />Chair Gaidos led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: Commissioners Vivek Mohan, Ken Morgan, Brandon Pace via <br />teleconference, Stephanie Wedge, and Chair Matt Gaidos <br /> <br />Commissioners Absent: Commissioner Anurag Jain <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />1.Actions of the Zoning Administrator <br /> <br />Recommendation: Receive report. <br /> <br />2.Approve the meeting minutes of February 28, 2024 <br /> <br />Recommendation: Approve the meeting minutes. <br /> <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Pace/Mohan to approve the Consent Calendar, as recommended. Motion <br />passed by the following roll call vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Commissioners Mohan, Morgan, Pace, Wedge, and Chair Gaidos <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Commissioner Jain <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br />3.Public comment regarding items not listed on the agenda. <br /> <br />Chair Gaidos opened the public comment. There being no speakers, Chair Gaidos closed the public <br />comment. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING AND OTHER MATTERS <br /> <br />4.Continued from February 28, 2024 - P23-0177, Bruce Myers, Catalyst Development Partners <br />LLC, Tract 8672, 3200 Hopyard Applications for Design Review (P23-0177) and Vesting <br />Tentative Tract Map 8672 approval pursuant to SB 330 to: 1) demolish an existing church and <br />daycare facility; 2) construct a housing development consisting of 57 attached condominium units
