City Council Minutes Page 1 of 6 February 20, 2024 <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MINUTES <br />Tuesday, February 20, 2024 <br />7:00 PM <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Brown called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. <br />from the Council Chamber located at 200 Old Bernal Avenue. <br />Councilmember Nibert provided opening remarks. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Present: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Testa, Nibert, Mayor Brown <br />Absent: None. <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br />City Manager Beaudin noted a correction to item 2 ordinance for Energy and Environment <br />Commission section 2.31.080 Meetings to remove the word "other" to read as follows: <br />A. Regular meetings shall be held on the fourth Wednesday of every month at a time <br />and place set by the commission. The commission may approve an alternate meeting <br />time. <br />Councilmember Balch pulled item 2 from consent calendar for further discussion. <br />Councilmember Arkin requested to reverse the order of items 12 and 13. <br />Councilmember Testa pulled item 4 from consent calendar for further discussion and <br />continued item 7 to a future meeting to have additional questions answered. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Mayor Brown opened public comment. The following individuals provided comment: Sharon <br />Pierkarski. <br />Mayor Brown closed the public comment. <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Nibert/Testa to approve the consent calendar as recommended <br />except for items 2, 4 and 7. Motion passed by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Brown <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Item #1 <br />Page 5 of 228
