<br />COMMERCIAL EXCESS LIABILITY
<br />THIS ENDORSEMENT CHANGES THE POLICY. PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY.
<br />EXCLUSION – WELDING HAZARDS
<br />This endorsement modifies insurance provided under the following:
<br />COMMERCIAL EXCESS LIABILITY POLICY
<br />A. The following exclusion is added to Paragraph 2. Exclusions of SECTION I – COVERAGES:
<br />2. Exclusions
<br />Insurance provided under this policy does not apply to:
<br />a. "Injury or damage" arising, in whole or in part, out of the actual, alleged or threatened exposure to, or
<br />inhalation or ingestion of smoke, vapors, soot, fumes, particles, gases, chemicals, or radiation or radi-
<br />oactive material arising from "welding hazards".
<br />This exclusion includes any providing of or failure to provide supervision, instructions, recommenda-
<br />tions, safeguards, specifications, warnings or advice.
<br />b. Any loss, cost or expense arising out of any:
<br />(1) Request, demand, order or statutory or regulatory requirement that any insured or others test for,
<br />monitor, clean up, remove, contain, treat, detoxify or neutralize, or in any way respond to, or assess
<br />the effects of, "welding hazards".
<br />(2) Claim or suit by or on behalf of any authority, governmental or otherwise, for damages because of
<br />testing for, monitoring, cleaning up, removing, containing, treating, detoxifying or neutralizing, or in
<br />any way responding to, or assessing the effects of, "welding hazards".
<br />B. The following definition is added to SECTION IV – DEFINITIONS:
<br />"Welding hazards" means the following:
<br />1. Welding operations, including but not limited to welding, brazing, soldering, thermal spraying, or cutting; or
<br />2. Welding or cutting equipment or materials used in welding operations, including but not limited to welding
<br />rods, electrodes, fluxes, gases, wires, welding or cutting consumables, base metals and any coating pre-
<br />sent on the base material.
<br />All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
