Resolution No. 2024-003 <br /> Page 3 of 3 <br /> SECTION 8. Committee officers shall be selected and serve as follows: <br /> a. The Committee by majority vote shall elect for a term of one year a chairperson and vice <br /> chairperson from among its members. Officers shall be elected at the last meeting of each <br /> calendar year and assume office at the first meeting of the next calendar year. <br /> b. The chairperson shall be responsible for the conduct of the meetings, working with staff <br /> for preparation of agenda and other duties normally associated with a chairperson. <br /> c. The vice chairperson shall perform those duties assigned by the chairperson and act for <br /> the chairperson in the latter's absence. <br /> d. No member of the Committee shall serve more than two successive full terms as <br /> chairperson. <br /> SECTION 9. The re-establishment of this Committee has changed the length of the term <br /> from three years to four years, and retains a maximum of two terms, such that the maximum <br /> length of service has changed from six years total to eight years total. Current members will have <br /> the terms of their existing appointment changed from three years to four years. Therefore, the <br /> maximum length of service for current committee members shall be seven or eight years total. <br /> SECTION 10.
