RESOLUTION NO. 23-1441 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AUTHORIZING APPROVAL OF AN AGREEMENT WITH SUN RIDGE SYSTEMS INC. TO PURCHASE A REPLACEMENT COMPUTER-AIDED DISPATCH AND RECORDS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM THROUGH A FIVE-YEAR LEASE-PURCHASE TERM IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,434,360 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton relies on the computer-aided dispatch and records management system software to provide public safety 911 police services, maintain police records as required by statute and regulation to support police operations; and WHEREAS, through an RFP process, Sun Ridge Systems Inc. was selected by staff as the preferred vendor; and WHEREAS, Sun Ridge Systems Inc. complies with state statutes and regulations, provides operational enhancements, and allows for data sharing amongst regional law enforcement agencies; and WHEREAS, in selecting Sun Ridge Systems Inc. the City will reduce maintenance fees by over $150,000 annually. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1. Authorizes the City Manager, or his/her designee, to enter into a contract with Sun Ridge Systems Inc. on the City's behalf and execute all related documents required for the contract, including any amendments thereof. SECTION 2. Agrees that the City of Pleasanton will abide by the terms and conditions of the contract. SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on December 19, 2023.
