State of California <br />Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) <br />Resource Management <br />GRANT AGREEMENT <br />APPLICANT: City of Pleasanton <br />PROJECT TITLE: Augustin Bernal Community Park Fuels Reduction <br />GRANT AGREEMENT: 5GA22213 <br />PROJECT PERFORMANCE PERIOD is from date of latter signature by CAL FIRE Deputy Director or <br />Grantee through March 15, 2029. <br />Under the terms and conditions of this Grant Agreement, the applicant agrees to complete the project as <br />described in the project description, and the State of California, acting through the Department of Forestry & Fire <br />Protection, agrees to fund the project up the total state grant amount indicated. <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project will conduct fuel reduction in Augustin Bernal Community Park, 237 <br />acres of natural, open space. The fuel reduction will cover approximately 125 acres and focus on the fire trail <br />and 100 feet on both sides of the trail network. Debris will be chipped and left on sight and some larger debris <br />being hauled away.
