RESOLUTION NO. 23-1443 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ACCEPTING THE FY 2022/23 YEAR-END OPERATING BUDGET, APPROVING BUDGET AMENDMENTS IN MULTIPLE FUNDS, AND DESIGNATING GENERAL FUND RESERVES WHEREAS, each year a report of financial condition of the Operating Budget is presented to the City Council; and WHEREAS, staff presented to the City Council such a report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1. Accepts the June 30, 2023 Fund Balances as shown in Exhibit A. SECTION 2. Designates General Fund Reserves for existing and future unknown obligations as shown in Exhibit A for all funds and as follows for the General Fund and the Bernal Park Donation Fund. SECTION 3. Allocates transfers from the General Fund to multiple funds as follows: $1,000,000 to the Storm Drain Operating Fund; $1,00,000 to the Information Technology Replacement Fund; $800,000 to the General Liability Fund; $500,000 to the Workers' Compensation Fund; $250,000 to the Fire Apparatus Replacement Fund; $250,000 to the Facilities Repair and Renovation Fund; and $200,000 to the Traffic Signal Replacement Fund. The City Council also allocates $7,155,022 to the General Fund reserve, $800,000 to the Strategic Plan Implementation Reserve. and $500,000 to the Emergency Reserve in the General Fund. Additionally, allocates $34,714 professional services budget in the Bernal Park Donation Fund, along with a transfer of $206,588 from the Bernal Park Donation Fund to the Park CIP Capital Fund. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
