<br />Part III: References and Related Experience <br />Under previous employment with a different company, Dr. Browne served as the Executive-in-Charge, <br />project manager, and lead consultant for more than 25 DEI projects including the following: <br />Client Project Description Contact Info <br />City of <br />Pleasanton (CA) <br />11/2022 - 9/2023 <br />Dr. Browne served as the project lead for the City of Pleasanton’s 2022 DEI <br />project initiative. In this role, he held bi-weekly meetings with the Pleasanton <br />HR staff and led a consulting team that conducted a comprehensive DEI <br />assessment of the City of Pleasanton and the Livermore–Pleasanton Fire <br />Department. The DEI assessment included an analysis of policies, processes, <br />and procedures. Staff engagement consisted of a DEI survey and focus groups <br />with staff and leaders. Dr. Browne presented all findings and the team’s <br />recommendations to the City Manager and Executive Leadership Team. He <br />also led a DEI training session for senior leaders. The DEI assessment was aimed at analyzing the impact of the City’s <br />operations on staff culture and on resident experience. Dr. Browne created a <br />community DEI task force made up of 20 residents including business owners, <br />residents, and a public school student. By participating in monthly meetings, <br />this task force provided input on the resident experience, engaged in a DEI <br />training session, and provided insight into the development of the city’s multi- <br />year DEI strategic plan which was presented to and adopted by the City <br />Manager, Mayor, and City Council. <br />Patrick Foiles <br />Director of Human <br />Resources <br />pfoiles@orcity.org <br />(503) 496-1528 <br /> <br />Housing <br />Authority of the <br />City of San <br />Buenaventura <br />(CA) 9/2022 - <br />9/2023 <br />Dr. Browne served as the project lead in a partnership with the Housing <br />Authority of the City of San Buenaventura. In this role, he led a team that <br />conducted a comprehensive organizational DEI assessment. The results of the <br />assessment were used to create a DEI task force, a DEI leadership council, and <br />a DEI Action Plan which included staff training which Dr. Browne facilitated <br />over the course of three sessions.
