MICHAEL <br />BLEECKER/TRI- V ALLEY OB/GYN FOR A ONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO <br />OPERATE A BIRTHING CENTER/HOME, AS F LED UNDER CASE UP-96-79 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Michael Bleecker/Tri-Valley Ob/Gyn has ajPlied for a conditional use permit to <br />operate a birthing center/home within an ex sting building located at 4583 Second <br />Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is RM-4,000 (Muitifle Family Residential- 4,000 square <br />feet per Dwelling Unit) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing ofFebru 12, 1997, the Planning Commission, <br />considered all public testimony, relevant ex ibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically xempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act ( EQA); therefore, no environmental <br />document was prepared for this project; an <br />I <br />I <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that I the use permit findings could not be <br />made and that the proposed use was not compatible with a residential <br />neighborhood. ! <br />I <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSIOJ OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: I <br />I <br /> <br />Denies Case UP-96-79, the application of [Michael Bleecker/Tri-Valley Ob/Gyn, <br />for a conditional use permit to operate a bIrthing center/home within an existing <br />building located at 4583 Second Street I <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 1 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
