When these increases are <br /> done over the same time period, living in this area is unreasonably expensive for most people. <br /> Whether a family is still raising a family or has finally retired after an exemplary career, this outrageous <br /> increase in rates is unsustainable. Pleasanton businesses leave because we can no longer spend on wants or <br /> updates. However, the city continues to spend on unnecessary road partitioning updates, etc. Residents sit at <br /> home wearing three sweaters while few lights are on in the house to save money. <br /> Families are forced to cut back by general orders that are sent from communities. The community needs to <br /> also cutback and live within their means and reduce their own costs rather than believe that spreading the <br /> costs of new projects on the residents is a reasonable way to update a town. <br /> 1 <br />
