RESOLUTION NO. 23-1418 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON AND THE PLEASANTON POLICE OFFICERS' ASSOCIATION FOR <br /> THE TERM OF JUNE 1, 2023 THROUGH MAY 31, 2026 <br /> WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the <br /> Pleasanton Police Officers' Association expired on May 31, 2023; and <br /> WHEREAS, representatives from the City of Pleasanton have met and conferred with <br /> representatives of Pleasanton Police Officers' Association and prepared a successor agreement <br /> covering the period June 1, 2023 through May 31, 2026. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the Memorandum of <br /> Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Police Officers' Association <br /> for the term commencing June 1, 2023 through May 31, 2026, in Exhibit A. <br /> SECTION 2. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the <br /> book of original resolutions. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a meeting held on October 3, 2023. <br /> I, Jocelyn Kwong, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a meeting held on the 3'd day of October, 2023, by <br /> the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Brown <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain: None <br /> Joffe yn Kw ng ity Clerk <br /> APP OVED AS TO FORM: <br /> Daniel G.
