THE CUY O F <br /> a I mlRiill 1 �'�" <br /> EASANTON. <br /> August 15. 200K <br /> Reth archers <br /> Martin Avenue <br /> easanton*CA 94588 <br /> Dear Ms.Borchers: <br /> Re:Approval of PADR-1919,Addition <br /> ERecti vc Date:September 2,2008 <br /> The City of Pleasanton Planning Department has completed design review for your proposal <br /> to convert the existing 730-square-foot garage into living space and to construct an <br /> approximately 500-square-foot front porch and an approximately 790-squ are-foot attached <br /> garage to the front of the existing residence located at 2207 Martin Avenue.Your proposed <br /> project meets all of the necessary requirements as outlined in the Pleasanton Zoning Ordinance. <br /> In accordance with Section 18.20.040(B)(2)of the Pleasanton Municipal Code,notice of your <br /> proposal was sent to your adjacent neighbors on August 7,2008.No request was made for a <br /> public hearing.The project is therefore approved with the following conditions: <br /> 1. The addition shall conform substantially to the approved elevations,site plans and <br /> other materials(Exhibit A)on file at the Planning Division. Minor changes to the <br /> plans may be allowed subject to the approval of the Zoning Administrator if found to <br /> be in substantial conformance to the approved exhibits. <br /> 2. The colors and materials of the addition shall match those of the existing structure. <br /> 3. All site improvements and construction activities shall be limited to the hours of <br /> 8:00 am. to 5.60 p.m.,Monday through Saturday. In addition,no construction shall <br /> be allowed on Federal Holidays. If complaints are received regarding the Saturday <br /> construction hours,the Planning Director may modify or revoke the Saturday <br /> construction hours. The Planning Director may allow earlier"start-times" for specific <br /> construction activities(e.g.,concrete-foundation/floor pouring), if it can be <br /> demonstrated to the satisfaction of the Planning Director that the construction and <br /> construction traffic noise will not affect nearby residents. All construction equipment <br /> must meet DMV noise standards and shall be equipped with muffling devices. <br /> 4. All appropriate City permits shall be obtained prior to the construction of the <br /> ^addition. <br /> P.
