Scope of Work <br /> Preparation of Plans,Specifications and Estimates <br /> Sunol Boulevard/I-680 Improvements Project <br /> August 21,2023 <br /> 7.2.4 Plat and Legal Packages <br /> Upon CT acceptance of the Appraisal Mapping,preparation of the plat and legal <br /> packages will begin. This proposal assumes fourteen(14)plat and legal packages will be <br /> required from 7 parent parcels including six(6) fee acquisitions and eight(8) new <br /> permanent easements. Temporary Construction Easements(TCE)were not determined <br /> prior to approach document preparation and therefore are not included herein. The plat <br /> and legal packages will be submitted to CT D4 personnel for review and acceptance. <br /> 7.2.5 Pre-construction Record of Survey Map <br /> As required by CT and the California Land Surveyors' Act, a Record of Survey map will <br /> be prepared and filed with Alameda County to memorialize the project monumentation, <br /> recovered ROW monuments, and other monuments from this survey. <br /> 7.2.6 ROW Engineering Support <br /> Surveying services will be provided as needed in support of Project Control (PC) sheet <br /> preparation,ROW Sufficiency, and ROW Certification tasks. <br /> Sunnlemental Topographic DesiPn Surveys <br /> Supplemental topographic design surveys will be performed using TSSS and/or CRTK <br /> methods. Two (2) field days are included with this proposal which includes 1) above- <br /> ground utility survey, 2) storm drain and sanitary sewer system pipe and invert survey, <br /> and 3)topographic surveys as directed by the civil engineering team. CT mapping <br /> standards for conventional surveying will be utilized. CAD-model only deliverables will <br /> be provided in Microstation DGN format. <br /> Quality Level B (QL-B) Underground Utility Survey <br /> A full QL-B underground survey will be performed by Bess Testlab, Inc across the <br /> project footprint. Ground marks will be placed at locations that define the various <br /> underground utilities. These marks will be surveyed and incorporated into the project <br /> mapping. Depths, when ascertainable, will be included with the measurement data. <br /> AECOM will determine the right-of-way needs for the Project, including easements, full <br /> and partial acquisition information and other right-of-way information necessary to <br /> accomplish the Project. AECOM will perform the following Right-of-Way work <br /> activities: <br /> • Attend Technical Meetings (up to two) to discuss right-of-way related issues. <br /> • Communicate to Caltrans and the City in a timely manner any change in design <br /> which may have an impact on the right-of-way and acquisition process. <br /> Page 28 of 42 <br />
