RESOLUTION NO. 23-1404 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br /> APPROVING THE INVESTMENT POLICY AND GUIDELINES OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to California Government Code Sections 53601 and 53635, the <br /> City's Investment Policy and Guidelines must be submitted to Council annually for adoption; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff presented to Council such a policy document for fiscal year 2023/24 on <br /> June 20, 2023; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff is recommending approval of the policies and guidelines outlined in <br /> that document. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. Adopt the Investment Policy and Guidelines for fiscal year 2023/24 as <br /> reflected in Exhibit A. <br /> SECTION 2. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into <br /> the book of original resolutions. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on June 20, 2023. <br /> I, Jocelyn Kwong, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the <br /> foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on June 20, <br /> 2023, by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Testa, Mayor Brown <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: Councilmember Nibert <br /> Abstain: None <br /> J lyn Kw ng, Oty Clerk <br /> APPROVED O FORM: <br /> Daniel G.
