Bicycle, Pedestrian & Trails Committee Minutes Page 2 of 2 April 24, 2023 <br />The following individuals provided comment: Members of the committee and member of <br />the staff. <br /> <br />Chair Vickers closed public comment. <br /> <br />MOTION: It was by Committee member Piekarski to approve item 4 allowing E-Bikes on <br />trails and parks and seconded by Chair Vickers. Motion passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes: Committee members Lam, Rodgers, Dubose, Stewart <br /> Noes: <br /> Abstain Committee members Jain, Maciel <br /> <br />5. Annual Bicycle and Pedestrian Collision Analysis <br /> <br />Recommendation: Informational Only <br /> <br />Staff Member Traffic Engineering Technician III Mark Candland presented the item. <br /> <br />Chair Vickers opened public comment/hearing. <br /> <br />The following individuals provided comment: Members of the committee and members of <br />staff. <br /> <br />Chair Vickers closed public comment. <br /> <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER REPORTS <br /> <br />6. Chair Vickers did not have anything to report on the Parks and Recreation actions. <br /> <br />7. Vice Chair Jain provided an update on the Planning Commission Actions. <br /> <br /> <br />COMMITTEE COMENTS <br /> <br />8. Committee member Piekarski brought forward information about Safe Routes to Schools. <br /> <br />9. Committee member Dubose inquired about the signs on Callippe Preserve Trail. <br /> <br />STAFF COMENTS <br /> <br />10. Staff member Gruber confirmed that the Callippe Preserve Trail signs have been installed. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Chair Vickers adjourned the meeting at 8:58 p.m. <br />
