3. Distribution, defined as providing alcohol to a fellow LPFD member or member of <br /> the public, while on-duty other than as a packaged gift that remains unopened and is <br /> stored and remains in a Covered Employee's personal vehicle; <br /> 4. Possession of alcohol while at work, excluding unopened alcohol that is stored and <br /> remains in a Covered Employee's personal vehicle while parked on LPFD premises; <br /> 5. consumption of alcohol while on-duty; and <br /> 6. consumption of alcohol following an on-duty motor vehicle accident that is subject to <br /> post-accident testing pursuant to this Policy until the Covered Employee is tested or a <br /> decision is made to not test the Covered Employee. <br /> Any Covered Employee who is under the influence of alcohol (i.e., on-the-job impairment) <br /> or has the odor of alcohol on their breath will not be permitted to remain on duty. <br /> F. With respect to marijuana/cannabinoids, the following conduct by Covered Employees is <br /> prohibited: <br /> 1. consumption of marijuana/cannabinoids within four hours of beginning work; <br /> 2. purchase of marijuana/cannabinoids from a brick-and-mortar retailer while on-duty <br /> and in LPFD uniform,or while on-duty and driving or acting-as-passenger in a vehicle <br /> reflecting LPFD insignia; <br /> 3. Distribution, defined as providing marijuana/cannabinoids to a fellow LPFD member <br /> or member of the public, while on duty; <br /> 4. Possession of legal marijuana/cannabinoids while at work, excluding unopened <br /> marijuana/cannabinoids that are stored and remain in a Covered Employee's personal <br /> vehicle while parked on LPFD premises; <br /> 5. consumption of marijuana/cannabinoids while on-duty; and <br /> 6. consumption of marijuana/cannabinoids following an on-duty motor vehicle accident <br /> that is subject to post-vehicle accident testing pursuant to this Policy until the Covered <br /> Employee is tested or a decision is made to not test the employee. <br /> Any Covered Employee who is under the influence (i.e., on-the-job impairment) of <br /> marijuana/cannabinoids will not be permitted to remain on duty. <br /> 4894-5387-2224 v2 39 <br />
