The grant funding awarded is based on the application submitted, with a
maximum individual award amount of$6 million.
DISCUSSION
The BSCC ORT grant will assist the Police Department in developing a comprehensive
approach to combat organized retail theft and motor vehicle and motor vehicle accessory
theft within Pleasanton. In collaboration with neighboring municipalities, the department
will use a multi-faceted and regional approach in implementing the grant funds. Staff is
developing the proposal for the grant which is due on July 7, 2023.
