Location and Notification Map STAFF RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends the Planning Commission approve Conditional Use Permit (CUP) Case No. P23-0338 based on the findings and subject to the draft conditions of approval in Exhibit A EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The original Conditional Use Permit (CUP) from Resurrection Greek Orthodox Church (Case No. P20-0994) was approved by the Planning Commission on July 14, 2021, in conjunction with a Planned Unit Development (PUD) modification and a parcel map approval for the construction and operation of an approximately 9,792-square-foot church and approximately 24,971-square-foot multi-purpose and gym building (community center) on an approximately 4.3-acre vacant site. Per §18.124.010 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code (PMC), a CUP approval lapses and becomes void one year from the approval effective date unless a building permit is issued, and construction is commenced. Approval of P20-0994 has lapsed. Anna Win, project architect, on behalf of the applicant, requested the approval to be reinstated. No changes to the previously approved designs and/or operational programs are proposed.
