LIVE CARE DESIGN CRITERIA <br /> 4. DESIGN CRITERIA <br /> 4.1. Accessory Buildings <br /> All accessory buildings shall be identified on the Development Plan (as outlined in Section 5.2) and <br /> approved in writing by the City prior to construction. Accessory buildings include any building serving a <br /> purpose customarily incidental to the principle use of the main use, structure and/or building, and which <br /> does not change the character of the principal use. Accessory buildings include any building(s) that are <br /> intended to be in place for more than six months and not considered a temporary building(as described in <br /> Section 3.6). Accessory buildings shall match the architectural design and materials of the main <br /> Improvement and comply with Livermore Development Code Section 4.02.030,Accessory Structures, as <br /> it exists today or amended. <br /> 4.2. Changes,Additions,and Deletions <br /> Prior to making any changes,additions,or deletions to existing land and/or Improvements,the Development <br /> Plan(as outlined in Section 5.2)shall be submitted to the Airport Manager and Community Development <br /> Department and approved in writing by the City. Changes, additions, or deletions shall match the <br /> architectural design and materials of the main Improvement. Changes, additions, and/or deletions shall <br /> conform to all applicable codes,ordinances,or other Legal Requirements. <br /> 4.3. Aircraft Accesses <br /> To allow for the safe, secure, and efficient operation of aircraft and to minimize potential conflicts with <br /> vehicles and pedestrians: <br /> ➢ all aircraft access points (i.e., Taxiways and Taxilanes) shall meet the design standards <br /> stipulated in Advisory Circular(AC) 150/5300-13A Airport Design,as may be amended; <br /> ➢ a minimum of 40 feet of frontage Ramp is required between the edge of the access Taxiway or <br /> Taxilane and the closest exterior wall of any hangar; <br /> ➢ frontage Ramp shall be constructed or leased and able to accommodate the largest aircraft the <br /> hangar is designed to accommodate and shall comply with the Minimum Standards; <br /> ➢ if two hangars(excluding rows of T-hangars or Executive Hangars)access a common Taxiway <br /> or Taxilane,a minimum of at least 40 feet of access Taxilane shall be required between the two <br /> frontage Ramps,edge to edge; <br /> ➢ where a common access Taxilane is required, the Lessee (Sublessee, if applicable) shall be <br /> required to lease and construct at least one-half of the required access Taxilane; <br /> ➢ a maximum of two vehicle or pedestrian access points shall be permitted to the Ramp,Taxiway, <br /> or Taxilane; and <br /> ➢ each access point must be under video surveillance with appropriate signage identifying such. <br /> 4.4. Antennae <br /> All required antennae, satellite dishes, and similar equipment shall be identified in the Development Plan <br /> (as outlined in Section 5.2)and approved in writing by the City prior to construction.No antennae,satellite <br /> dish,or similar equipment shall be allowed that interferes with existing or future Airport,aircraft,or vehicle <br /> operations. When possible, all antennae, satellite dish, or similar equipment shall be screened from view. <br /> FAA Form 7460-1 Notice of Proposed Construction or Alteration shall be completed and all antennae, <br /> satellite dishes, and similar equipment must comply with 14 CFR Part 77 Safe, Efficient Use, and <br /> Preservation of the Navigable Airspace. <br /> Leasing and Development Policy 15 <br /> City of Livermore, Livermore Municipal Airport <br />
