In 2012 1 decided to bring my business into town as well. We
have seen many years of growth, and prosperity with my business and family. It is only recently that we have had
concern, and in such concern required the Pleasanton Police Department. In my communications with Pleasanton PD, I
have felt that we were dealing with knowledgeable and professional officers. I believe officers of this caliber are an
essential function of the foundation of this city. With such foundation it is imperative that we support these officers to
support our citizens and cities foundation. We all know that inflation has been real and hits all residents of this
state. We have a financial obligation to support our officers by bringing their median salary in line with comparable
cities in California. Failure to do so will force officers to decide on staying with Pleasanton PD, or moving to a city that
does support them with fair compensations. In turn this would lead to hiring of officers with less knowledge, skills, and
ability.
Thank you for taking time to read this email.
AONk ory Giddings / Bay Area Branch Manager
PACIFIC OFFICE AUTOMATION
4464 Willow Road,Suite 103, Pleasanton.
