As a past Park and Rec's commissioner I do strongly value supporting spending "General Funds" where it can add a "community benefit", however, NOT at the expense of our residents' safety. Please prioritize supporting the Police and Fire budgets and workforce incentives. NOT A PENNY of the general funds should be spent on other projects or services until police is at Full Staff and current staff is not putting in unnecessary overtime. Also please revaluate the budget for proper funding to ensure our Cities water supply is sufficiently supported.
