There have been many times in my 31 years in this community when the city council has had to pivot because priorities change. I believe we are at that juncture again. While beautification and amenities certainly enrich our lives in Pleasanton, the issues of public safety and water quality have always been a high priority for our -residents. And right now, the quality of those basic community elements is in critical jeopardy.
