LIVEk\N RE DESIGN CRITERIA <br /> 4.13. Flagpoles <br /> All flagpoles shall be located in such a manner and distance from Ramps,Taxiways,or Taxilanes to prevent <br /> being a hazard to Airport, aircraft, or vehicles operations. The height of flagpoles shall comply with 14 <br /> CFR Part 77 Safe,Efficient Use, and Preservation of the Navigable Airspace.The flag of the United States <br /> shall only be displayed in accordance with Title 4 of the United States Code(U.S.C.).Flagpoles are subject <br /> to Livermore Development Code Section 4.02.040, Special Height Regulations, as it exists today or <br /> amended. <br /> 4.14. Grading and Drainage <br /> A site plan indicating proposed grading and drainage (including drainage flow, contours, and elevations) <br /> shall be submitted with the Development Plan(as outlined in Section 5.4) and approved in writing by the <br /> City prior to construction.Compatible grading and drainage between adjacent land and Improvements shall <br /> be established to control drainage and erosion and shall meet the following requirements: <br /> i Grading permits shall be obtained from the Agency having jurisdiction prior to performing any <br /> grading. <br /> Grades, berms, channels, and swales shall be an integral part of the grading, drainage, and <br /> paved surface design. <br /> y Paved area grades shall not exceed two percent(2.0%)slope for concrete and asphalt paving. <br /> Drainage (and all related facilities) shall be designed to prevent standing water and <br /> accommodate all storm water generated by the land in accordance with the Construction Storm <br /> Water Pollution Prevention Plan(SWPPP)and the City's SWPPP. <br /> y All grading and drainage shall meet the design standards described in AC 150/5320-5C.4irpor•t <br /> Drainage Design,as may be amended. <br /> :- All other applicable requirements as set forth in the Livermore Development Code. <br /> Drainage shall not adversely impact adjacent land and Improvements and shall flow into natural or <br /> developed drainage. <br /> Unless otherwise approved by the City, the elevation of the land shall not be changed so as to materially <br /> affect the surface elevation or grade of the surrounding land. <br /> Gutters and downspouts shall be used to facilitate drainage from roofs. <br /> Hangar floor drainage shall flow through an oil/water separator in compliance with the Airport's SWPPP <br /> and applicable Legal Requirements. <br /> 4.15. Landscaping <br /> The City encourages landscaping that creates a compatible and continuous relationship between the land <br /> and the Improvements,minimizes the use of irrigation water,maintains an aesthetically pleasing appearance <br /> in all areas not covered by Improvements,Ramps,vehicle parking areas,and enhances the existing character <br /> of a site. Any portion of the site that is not improved shall be landscaped according to the approved <br /> landscaping and irrigation plan submitted with the Development Plan (as outlined in Section 5.4) and <br /> approved in writing by the City prior to construction. Landscaping is subject to Municipal Code Chapter <br /> 13.235, Water Efficient Landscape,Livermore Development Code Chapter 4.05,Landscape Standards,and <br /> the City of Livermore Design Standards and Guidelines,as they exist today or amended. <br /> Landscaping materials shall be installed within 30 calendar days of receipt of CO. <br /> Leasing and Development Policy(DRAFT FOR DISCUSSION PURPOSES ONLY) 14 <br /> City of Livermore.
