<br />2023-2031 Housing Element City of Pleasanton | 64 <br />Goal 7: Equal Housing/Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing <br /> <br />Policies <br />Policy 7.1 <br />Promote fair and equal access to housing for all persons regardless of race, color, religion, gender, <br />disability, sexual orientation, age, national origin, or family status. <br /> <br />Policy 7.3 <br />Assist in the relocation of persons displaced by public projects in accordance with the <br />requirements of State and federal law. <br /> <br />Programs <br />Program 7.1 <br />Support State and Federal provisions for enforcing anti-discrimination laws. The City Attorney’s <br />Office remains available to support State and Federal provisions for enforcing anti-discrimination <br />laws, as appropriate. <br /> Responsible Agency: Planning Division, City Attorney’s Office <br /> Time Period: Ongoing <br /> Funding Source: General Fund <br /> <br />Program 7:2 <br />Develop incentive/revitalization programs for neighborhoods to encourage support for affordable <br />housing opportunities. Such incentives could include enhanced public amenities or other <br />investment in areas where additional multi-family housing is planned. <br /> Responsible Agency: Housing Division, Planning Division, Engineering Division <br /> Time Period: Develop incentive/revitalization program (2027), complete at least one <br />project in an existing or planned multi-family area, such as the Downtown area where <br />generally older homes are located (2030) <br /> Funding Source: Housing Division Budget, Capital Improvement Program Budget, Grant <br />Funds <br /> <br />
