Chair <br />Pace closed the public comment. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING AND OTHER MATTERS <br /> <br />10. P20-0980, City of Pleasanton, Objective Design Standards – Review, consider, and provide <br />recommendation for modifications to Objective Design Standards (ODS) for Housing Element sites <br /> <br />Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. PC-2023-07 recommending City Council adoption of <br />modifications to ODS for Housing Element sites. <br /> <br />Consultant Andrew Faulkner and Senior Planner Shweta Bonn presented the item. <br /> <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Gaidos/Morgan to recommend changes to the ODS as proposed in Item 3 and <br />analyze, for the City Council’s consideration, modifying height limits for developments with density <br />14-29 du/ac and 30 du/ac or greater, depending on whether ground floor parking is provided. Motion <br />passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Commissioners Gaidos, Jain, Mohan, Morgan, and Pace <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW/ACTION/INFORMATION <br /> <br />11. Reports from Meetings Attended (e.g., Committee, Task Force, etc.) <br /> <br />Commissioners Gaidos, Mohan and Morgan reported attending a Heritage Tree Board meeting and <br />noted all parties were able to reach a suitable agreement. <br /> <br />Commissioners Jain and Mohan reported attending the 2023 League of California Cities Planning <br />Commissioners Academy and noted a session regarding community surveys and tax increases to fund <br />projects. <br />
