Staff is suggesting changing the current Internal Street park <br /> strip and sidewalk widths from 4 feet and 5 feet respectively to 6 feet and 6 feet <br /> adding an additional 3 feet or 33%. This again reduces density and makes the <br /> Internal Street the same as a Public Street. Please leave the dimensions at the <br /> current 4 feet and 5 feet. <br /> 4. Page 36, A7.12. states that Individual garage doors shall be provided for each <br /> stall of a multiple stall garage fronting a Public Street or Internal Street. This <br /> Standard would eliminate any standard two-car garage door! This would one, <br /> reduce the architectural diversity provided by having different elevations contain <br /> differing garage configurations and second, is not desirable by homeowners as it <br /> is much harder to park a larger vehicle like an SUV in a single door garage. <br /> This Standard should be eliminated or modified to require perhaps 30% of <br /> elevations to include single doors rather than double doors. <br /> Thank you for your consideration of these changes to the proposed modifications.
