By imposing additional duties on local <br /> officials, the bill would create a state-mandated local program. This bill would enact the <br /> Affordable Housing Bond Act of 2024, which, if adopted, would <br /> authorize the issuance of bonds in the amount of$[TBD] pursuant <br /> to the State General Obligation Bond Law. Proceeds from the sale <br /> of these bonds would be used to finance programs to fund <br /> affordable rental housing and homeownership programs, as <br /> provided. This bill contains other related provisions. <br /> 12 SB 4 The Planning and Zoning Law requires each county and city to Oppose unless None/Pending <br /> (Wiener) adopt a comprehensive, long-term general plan for its physical amended <br /> development, and the development of certain lands outside its <br /> Planning and zoning: boundaries, that includes, among other mandatory elements, a <br /> housing housing element.
