RESOLUTION NO. 23-1381 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A CLAIM WITH THE ALAMEDA COUNTY <br /> TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION (ACTC) FOR MEASURE BB FUNDS FOR FISCAL <br /> YEAR 2023/24 <br /> WHEREAS,Alameda County Measure BB provides for the distribution of funds from local <br /> dedicated sales tax to provide special transportation for seniors and persons with disabilities; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Measure BB, a prospective claimant wishing to <br /> receive an allocation from Alameda County shall file its claim with the Alameda County <br /> Transportation Commission; and <br /> WHEREAS,the claims propose to continue a current program utilizing existing equipment, <br /> manpower, and routes, and proposes minor additional services, and is, therefore, considered <br /> exempt from the requirements of the California Environment Quality Act; and <br /> WHEREAS, Measure BB funds will be required by the Pleasanton Rides service in Fiscal <br /> Year 2023/24 for community transit services. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. Authorizes the City Manager or designee to execute and file appropriate <br /> claims pursuant to the terms of the Alameda County Measure BB, as amended, and pursuant to <br /> applicable rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, together with all necessary supporting <br /> documents, with ACTC for an allocation of Measure BB funds for Fiscal Year 2023/24. <br /> SECTION 2. Transmit a copy of this Resolution to the ACTC in conjunction with the filing <br /> of claims, and ACTC will be requested to grant the allocations of funds as specified herein. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on April 18, 2023. <br /> I, Jocelyn Kwong, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 18th day of April, <br /> 2023 by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Brown <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain: None <br /> Jop' yn Kw\ng, 0'�ty Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> Daniel G.
