CITY ENGINEER SIGNATURE BLOCK: The following signature block shall be depicted <br /> on the first sheet of the plans submitted for construction: "Approval of these plans is for <br /> work within the street right-of-way and public utility systems within Public Services <br /> Easements unless otherwise noted. Approval of these plans does not release the <br /> developer of the responsibility for the correction of mistakes, errors, or omissions <br /> contained therein. If during the course of construction of the improvements public <br /> interest requires a modification or a departure from the specification and details of the <br /> City of Pleasanton or these plans, the City Engineer shall have the authority to require <br /> such modification or departure and to specify the manner in which same is to be made. <br /> Approved as to design only based upon information submitted hereon this [DAY] of <br /> [MONTH], [YEAR]. DESIGN PER CITY STANDARDS: All public improvements shall be designed in <br /> conformance with the City of Pleasanton Municipal Code and the City's adopted <br /> Standard Specifications and Details in effect at the time of issuance of the permit(s). <br /> Said standards are available for download at: <br /> http://www.cityofpleasantonca.gov/qov/depts/engineering/standard.asp. <br /> (Address this condition prior to plan approval) <br /> 63. STREETLIGHTS: Streetlights to be owned and maintained by the City shall include a <br /> light-emitting diode (LED) lamp and driver compliant with UL 1598. The luminaire must <br /> be dark-sky compliant with correlated color temperature (CCT) not greater than 4,000K. <br /> For safety lighting at signalized intersections, electricity for the lights shall come from a <br /> dedicated circuit fed from the traffic signal's electrical panel. The circuit shall be <br /> controlled by a photocell that energizes the light only during nighttime hours. <br /> For free-standing streetlights on dedicated poles, the electricity shall be fed from an <br /> unmetered secondary electrical circuit provided by PG&E. A photocell on each fixture <br /> shall control operation of the lamp. Free-standing fixtures are subject to PG&E's LS2A <br /> "Customer-owned Street and Highway Lighting" rate schedule. The applicant shall <br /> provide verification of total energy consumption of luminaire to PG&E prior to <br /> connection. Billing for LS2A electricity consumption must be transferred to the City upon <br /> acceptance of the streetlight installation. (Address this condition prior to plan approval) <br /> 64. CLEAN WATER PROGRAM (LARGE PROJECTS): Because the project creates and/or <br /> replaces more than approximately 10,000 square feet (approximately 0.23 acres) of <br /> impervious surface, it is considered a Regulated Project according to Provision C.3.b of <br /> the Municipal Regional Stormwater NPDES Permit that regulates stormwater runoff in <br /> Alameda County. The Alameda Countywide Clean Water Program developed a C.3 <br /> Guidance Manual to assist applicants in addressing these regulations. The Guidance <br /> Manual is available for download at: <br /> https://www.cleanwaterprogram.org/businesses/development.htmI <br /> Regulated projects must include stormwater treatment measures in the site design to <br /> remove pollutants from stormwater upstream of any connection to the City's or Alameda <br /> County's stormwater conveyance networks. In addition, regulated projects must be <br /> subject to a Stormwater Treatment Measure Maintenance Agreement between the City <br /> and property owner to assure long-term maintenance of the installed measures.
