1 <br /> THE CITY OF <br /> °° —• ���� �"" CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> PLEASANTON, <br /> April 18, 2023 <br /> City Council <br /> TITLE: RATIFY COMMISSION AND COMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS <br /> SUMMARY <br /> In accordance with commission appointment policies, the City solicits applications from <br /> interested Pleasanton residents to serve on the City's standing commissions and <br /> committees. <br /> In February 2023, the City solicited applications to fill vacancies for expiring terms. <br /> Applications were received, screened, and interviews held. The Mayor's selections for <br /> appointment are listed in the attachment. To ensure continuity in service, the Mayor has <br /> included commissioners who, as a result of other openings, are changing status from an <br /> alternate to a regular member. In addition, several vacancies created as a result of <br /> members changing status from alternate to regular are not being filled at this time while <br /> the Council's ad hoc subcommittee considers recommendations for reorganization of the <br /> current commission and committee structure. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> The Council is asked to ratify the Mayor's appointments to various City commissions and <br /> committees, and regional board representatives, as listed in the attachment. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no fiscal impact. <br /> Submitted by: Approved by: <br /> ,Jocelyn w�g Karla Brown <br /> City Clerk I Mayor <br /> cc: Gerry Beaudin, City Manager <br /> Attachment: <br /> 1 .
