Persons who shall vio- <br />late a provision of this code or shall fail to comply <br />with any of the requirements thereof or who shall <br />erect, install, alter, repair or do work in violation <br />of the approved construction documents, or direc- <br />tive of the fire code official, or of a permit, or cer- <br />tificate used under provisions of this code, shall be <br />punished in accordance with the fines and penal- <br />ties established by the Pleasanton Municipal Code <br />and/or, as specified by California Government <br />Code, Section 36900. A classification of chemi- <br />cal for which there is statistically significant evi- <br />dence that acute or chronic health effects are ca- <br />pable of occurring in exposed persons.
