Form , Proportion, and Scale <br />Design Standards <br />Multifamily Develop m e nt <br />B7 .1 Buildings shall provide a Significant Architectural Element at any of the following: <br />a . Where located at the corner of two Public Streets. <br />b . Where located at the terminating end of a paseo that connects to adjacent properties. <br />c. Where located fronting on a designated open space greater than 5,000 square feet in area. <br />d. Where located at the terminating end of a view corridor <br />a. extending perpendicular from a public right-of-way across an open space no less <br />than 50 feet in depth to a subject building no less than three stories in height ; or <br />b . extending from the subject building greater than 1,000 feet beyond the limits of the <br />project ; parallel to an adjacent public right-of-way; and framed by buildings no less <br />than three stories in height. <br />B7 .2 Significant Architectural Elements shall be limited to the following: <br />a. A tower or other projecting building mass including a parapet no less than four feet taller <br />than surrounding elements. <br />b. A building stepback located at the corner of the uppermost floor with a minimum dimension <br />of25 feet. <br />c. A porch, colonnade, or open terrace with a minimum area of200 square feet. <br />d. A roof terrace expressed on the facade of the building with a minimum dimension of 50 feet. <br />e.
