RESOLUTION NO. PC-2023-03 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RECOMMENDING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVE AMENDMENTS TO THE <br />GENERAL PLAN CONSISTENT WITH THE 5rH CYCLE HOUSING ELEMENT (P21-0751) <br />AND STONERIDGE MALL FRAMEWORK (P22-0969) <br />WHEREAS, on January 11, 2023, the Planning Commission held a properly noticed <br />public hearing to review the Stoneridge Mall Framework (P22-0969) and 2023-2031 (6th Cycle) <br />Housing Element Update (P21-0751); and <br />WHEREAS, consistent with review and recommendations made related to P22-0969 <br />and P21-0751, the Planning Commission reviewed corresponding amendments to the text and <br />land use map of the General Plan Land Use Element; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed and recommended certification of the <br />proposed Environmental Impact Report prepared for the 6th Cycle Housing Element, with which <br />the proposed General Plan amendments would conform and are thus within the scope of the <br />EIR analysis. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton, <br />based on the entire record of proceedings, including the oral and written staff reports and all <br />public comment and testimony: <br />Section 1: <br />Section 2. <br />Recommends that the City Council approve General Plan amendments to the <br />Land Use Element as shown in Attachment 1. <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on January 11, 2023, by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Matthew Gaidos, Vivek Mohan, Ken Morgan, Brandon Pace <br />NOES: <br />ABSTAIN: <br />AB NT: Commissioner Anurag Jain <br />Secretary, Planning Commission <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />��Larissa Seto <br />Assistant City Attorney
