The project <br />site and surrounding areas were used for agriculture from at least the 1930s to the late 1970s, when <br />the project site was developed for its current use as an asphalt parking lot as part of the Stoneridge <br />Mall. <br />Findings <br />a) Transport, Use, or Disposal of Hazardous Materials <br />Prior EIR Conclusions <br />The Prior EIR determined that future potential projects may transport and use hazardous materials <br />such as fuel or solvents during construction and demolition activities, which could accidentally spill <br />into the environment, creating hazardous conditions that could degrade groundwater quality or <br /> <br />53 Apex. 2022.
