RESOLUTION NO. 23-1359 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE GENERAL PLAN CONSISTENT WITH THE 6T" CYCLE HOUSING ELEMENT (P21-0751), STONERIDGE MALL FRAMEWORK (P22- 0969), AND OBJECTIVE DESIGN STANDARDS (P20-0989) WHEREAS, on January 11, 2023, the Planning Commission held a properly noticed public hearing to review the Stoneridge Mall Framework (P22-0969), Objective Design Standards (P20-0989) and 2023-2031 (6th Cycle) Housing Element Update (P21-0751) and recommended that the City Council approve amendments to the General Plan; and WHEREAS, on January 26, 2023, the City Council held a properly noticed public hearing to review the Stoneridge Mall Framework (P22-0969), Objective Design Standards (P20- 0989), and 2023-2031 (6th Cycle) Housing Element Update (P21-0751); and WHEREAS, consistent with review and recommendations made related to P22-0969, P20-0989 and P21-0571, the City Council reviewed corresponding amendments to the text and land use map of the General Plan Land Use Element; and WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed and certified the Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) prepared for the 6th Cycle Housing Element, with which the proposed General Plan amendments would conform and are thus within the scope of the EIR analysis. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1. The City Council approves General Plan amendments to the Land Use Element as shown in Exhibit A. SECTION 2. This resolution shall take effect at the same time that the Resolution of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton adopting Objective Design Standards for Qualifying Housing Development (Case No. P20-0989) takes effect, or on January 31, 2023, whichever is earlier. SECTION 3. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a special meeting held on January 26, 2023.
