CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 472 <br /> <br /> AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 440 (ADOPTING A UNIFORM <br /> BUILDING CODE), ESTABLISHING AN INSPECTION <br /> PROCEDURE FOR EXISTING BUILDINGS UPON REQUEST <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton does hereby <br />ordain as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Amendment. <br /> <br /> Ordinance No. 440 (Uniform Building Code) is hereby <br />amended by adding paragraph (2) to Section 304 (f), to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> "In addition to called inspections required herein, <br /> the Director of Public Works shall inspect any <br /> existing building or structure within the City <br /> when requested to do so by an owner or person <br /> acting under authority of the owner. Such <br /> request shall be made in writing on forms furnished <br /> for such purpose. Application shall be signed by <br /> the applicant who may be required to submit evidence <br /> to indicate such authority. <br /> <br /> "A statement of all findings shall be sent to the <br /> applicant and owner, and a record shall be kept <br /> on file in the office of the Public Works De- <br /> partment of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> "Applications shall be accompanied by an inspection <br /> fee in the amount set forth in a fee schedule <br /> adopted by resolution of the City Council." <br /> <br /> Section 2: Publication and Adoption. <br /> <br /> This Ordinance shall be published once in "THE TIMES", <br />a newspaper of general circulation, published within the City of <br />Pleasanton, and shall become effective thirty days after the date <br />of adopt ion. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the <br />City of Pleasanton on October 3, 1966. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the <br />City of Pleasanton on October 10, 1966, by the following vote: <br /> <br /> - 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
