PUD-136, Mall Residential Project Planning Commission <br />10 of 34 <br />Building Height <br />As discussed above, the project proposes five-and-one-half stories and a maximum height of <br />approximately 65 feet consistent with the Design Guidelines. (The proposed number of stories <br />exceeds that allowed by the Housing Design Standards and Guidelines (five stories), but is a <br />concession requested pursuant to State Housing Density Bonus Law, see discussion below), <br />Figures 5 and 6 below provide a building section and neighborhood context diagram illustrating <br />the height of each level and the cumulative height of the bu ilding as well as how the building <br />would compare with other existing buildings within the immediate vicinity. <br /> <br />Figure 5: Building Section <br /> <br /> <br />Figure 6: Neighborhood Context Diagram <br /> <br /> <br />
