ATTACHMENT#2 <br /> Evaluation Criteria <br /> Note: Cost estimates (capital and 0&M) will be prepared for each alternative and compared against <br /> the benefits, based on the following criteria. <br /> Criteria Description <br /> Water Supply The ability to predictably, consistently meet water demands, including during <br /> Reliability dry years. Considers redundancy of system and ability to meet demands <br /> during peak periods and/or emergency conditions. <br /> Water Quality/ Degree of ability to deliver water below all current and anticipated future <br /> Regulatory state and federal drinking water standards. <br /> Compliance <br /> Ease of operating and maintaining the system from a technical standpoint, <br /> Operational considering organizational readiness and necessary staff qualifications/ <br /> Complexity certifications(e.g., ability to operate the project with existing staff resources), <br /> and the ability to enhance system in the event of additional and/or more <br /> stringent drinking water regulations. <br /> Institutional Ease of implementation and management from an institutional standpoint <br /> Complexity (e.g., willingness of external partners,complexity of agreements and <br /> administration). <br /> Timing of How quickly the alternative can be online,considering timeframe for design, <br /> Implementation permitting, and construction (if applicable). <br />
