CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br /> December 20, 2022 <br /> This meeting was conducted in accordance with Governor Newsom's <br /> Executive Order N-29-20 and AB 361 COVID-19 pandemic protocols. <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Brown called the adjourned regular meeting of the City Council to order at the hour of 6:30 p.m. <br /> from the Council Chamber located at 200 Old Bernal Avenue and via Zoom. <br /> Councilmember Narum led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Narum, Testa, Mayor Brown <br /> Absent: None <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> 1. Adopt a resolution declaring results of the General Municipal Election held November 8, 2022 <br /> Recommendation: Adopt and waive the full reading of Resolution No. 22-1345 reciting the facts of <br /> the General Municipal Election held on November 8, 2022 declaring the results and such other <br /> matters as provided by law. <br /> 2. Approve first amendment to employment contract of City Manager Gerry Beaudin to provide for a <br /> five percent salary increase to $294,000 <br /> Recommendation: Approve the First Amendment to Employment Contract City Manager and <br /> authorize the Mayor to sign on behalf of the City. <br /> 3. Approve fourth amendment to employment contract of City Attorney Daniel Sodergren to provide for <br /> a five percent salary increase to $264,600 <br /> Recommendation: Approve the Fourth Amendment to Employment Contract City Attorney and <br /> authorize the Mayor to sign on behalf of the City. <br /> MOTION: It was m/s by Arkin/Testa to approve the consent calendar as recommended. Motion <br /> passed by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Narum, Testa, Mayor Brown <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> RECOGNITION OF AND REMARKS BY OUTGOING COUNCIL MEMBER KATHY NARUM <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> Mayor Brown opened public comment. <br />
