CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 469 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DES IGNATED AS ANNEXATION NO. 42, "HANSEN-GIGER ADDITION", TO THE CITY OF PLEASANTON The City Council does hereby ordain as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby make the following findings: (a) On May 31, 1966, the Council of the City of Pleasanton did pass and adopt Amended Resolution No. 66-79, giving notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited ter- ritory to the City of Pleasanton. Said territory was designated as Annexation No. 42, "Hansen-Giger Addition", and did describe the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed. (b) Said Amended Resolution No. 66-79 contained a notice of the time and place for the Council of the City of Pleasanton to hear protests made by any person owning real property within the territory proposed to be annexed. Said time of said hearing was not less than fifteen nor more than sixty days from the date of passage of the Amended Resolution. (c) On July 25, 1966, at the hour of 8:00 P.M., in the Council Chambers at the Women's Club Building, Southwest corner of Vineyard and Regalia Avenues of the City of Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California, the said City Council did conduct a public hearing and pass upon protests made, there being none. By Resolution No. 66-132 the City Council determined that protests had not been made by the owners of one-half of the value of the privately owned territory proposed to be annexed as shown by the last equalized assessment roll, nor by public owners of one-half of the value of the publicly owned territory proposed to be annexed as determined by said legislative body. (d) Said territory is contiguous to the City of Pleasanton, and is uninhabited territory in the County of Alameda - 1 -
