CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL AND PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES <br /> December 15, 2022 <br /> This meeting was conducted in accordance with Governor Newsom's <br /> Executive Order N-29-20 and AB 361 COVID-19 pandemic protocols. <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Brown called the special joint meeting of the City Council and Planning Commission to order at <br /> the hour of 7:02 p.m. from the Council Chamber located at 200 Old Bernal Avenue and via Zoom. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Narum, Testa, Mayor Brown <br /> Absent: None <br /> Present: Commissioners Jain (Alternate), Mohan, Morgan, Nibert, Chair Pace <br /> Absent: Commissioner Gaidos <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> 1. Receive an update on the Stoneridge Mall Framework and consider conceptual <br /> development scenarios <br /> Recommendation: 1) Receive an update on the Stoneridge Mall Framework; and 2) consider and <br /> provide direction regarding the conceptual development scenarios. <br /> Ellen Clark, Community Development Director, Shweta Bonn, Senior Planner, Mike Tassano, City <br /> Traffic Engineer, and Rick Williams, consultant with Van Meter Williams Pollack, presented the <br /> item and responded to questions from the City Council and Planning Commission. <br /> Mayor Brown opened the public hearing. The following individuals provided comment: Chuck <br /> Davis, Stephen Logan, Alan Chamorro. <br /> Mayor Brown closed the public hearing. <br /> All members of the Planning Commission and City Council provided comments focusing on <br /> Conceptual Scenario 1: Scattered Mixed-Use Housing. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> Mayor Brown adjourned the meeting at 10:38 p.m. <br /> Jocelyn Kwong, City Clerk <br />
