A copy
of the current salary structure is provided as Attachment 1. Periodically, salaries are
studied and adjusted to meet increasing minimum wage standards and to ensure wages
are appropriate to attract and retain qualified employees to support the various
programs and services provided by the City. A recent compensation study concluded
there is a need to increase the hourly pay of several classifications; staff is
recommending wage adjustments as provided in Attachment 2.
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt a resolution approving changes to the Temporary, Part-time/Seasonal
Classification Salary Structure as recommended (Attachment 3).
FINANCIAL STATEMENT
This recommendation is estimated to add $18,350 per fiscal year to current staffing
costs.
