CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 465 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF <br /> CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DES IGNATED <br /> AS ANNEXAT ION NO. 47 <br /> <br /> The City Council does hereby ordain as follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby make the following <br />findings: (a) On May 31, 1966, the Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton did pass and adopt Resolution No. 66-80 giving notice <br />of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to the <br />City of Pleasanton. Said territory was designated as Annexation <br />No. 47, and did describe the boundaries of the territory proposed <br />to be annexed. <br /> <br /> (b) Said Resolution No. 66-80 contained a notice of <br />the time and place for the Council of the City of Pleasanton to <br />hear protests made by any person owning real property within the <br />territory proposed to be annexed. Said time of said hearing was <br />not less than fifteen nore more than sixty days from the date of <br />passage of the Amended Resolution. <br /> <br /> (c) On July 25, 1966, at the hour of 8:00 P.M., in <br /> <br />the Council Chambers at the Women~s Improvement Club Building, <br />southwest corner of Vineyard and Regalia Avenues of the City of <br />Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California, the said City <br />Council did conduct a public hearing and pass upon protests made, <br />there being none. By Resolution No. 66-109 the City Council <br />determined that protests had not been made by the owners of one- <br />half of the value of the privately owned territory proposed to be <br />annexed as shown by the last equalized assessment roll, nor by <br />public owners of one-half of the value of the publicly owned <br />territory proposed to be annexed as determined by said legislative <br /> <br />body. <br /> <br /> - 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
