The first tranche of the allocation was received in fiscal year <br /> 2020/21, and the second tranche was received in fiscal year 2021/22. As part of the budget adoption for the fiscal years <br /> 2021/22 and 2022/23 operating budget,the City Council approved the use of ARPA funds for General Fund <br /> operations. Approximately$4.31VI is budgeted for each fiscal year. Funds allocated for fiscal year 2021/22 were used to <br /> support important city services including public safety, community services, economic development, and operation <br /> services. As a service organization, services and programs are delivered by employees and the budget allocation was <br /> used to cover a portion of the salaries for full-time employees. The table below shows the allocations to program <br /> departments.The allocations are calculated based on each department's share of the total budget for the five <br /> departments listed below. <br />
