L The Castleridge Trailhead Improvements shall be completed within one year from <br /> execution of this MOU. <br /> 4. CASTLERIDGE TRAILHEAD LICFNSE(LEAE. After the final design of the improvements <br /> described in Section 3, Subsections a. to e., the parties shall mutually agree on the terms of <br /> a License Agreement for District to: utilize City property, commonly known as the Austin <br /> Triangle shown in the attached Exhibit C (hereafter "Austin Triangle") for District's trail <br /> connecting Foothill Road to District's existing trail further up Pleasanton Ridge Regional <br /> Park; and for District's vault toilet described in Section 3.d., above. <br /> a. City shall execute and deliver the License Agreement to District upon: <br /> i. City final inspection of the Improvements described in Section 3, Subsections <br /> a. to e., above.;and <br /> ii. District updating the City regarding District's progress on milestones for the <br /> Garms Staging Area described in I.a., above. <br /> 5. CASTLERIDGE TRAILHEAD MAINTENANCE. After completion of the construction of <br /> the Improvements, District shall maintain: <br /> a. The trail improvements on the City's Austin Triangle; <br /> b. The vault toilet. <br /> 6. PARKING ON OLD FOOTHILL ROAD. Parking in designated areas on Old Foothill Road <br /> shall be subject to the Pleasanton Municipal Code Chapter 11.40 as it may be amended <br /> from time to time, and may be reserved for scheduled events at the Alvis Adobe <br /> Community Park with appropriate signage posted at least 24 hours in advance of the event. <br /> The parties will agree upon a communication strategy so that advance notice of events and <br /> parking closures are provided to the full extent possible. Strategies may include noticing on <br /> the District's website and one-week advance noticing on-site. <br /> 7. CASTLERIDGE TRAILHEAD REPLACEMENT PARKING. The parties agree that parking <br /> on Old Foothill Road is interim parking and the City will evaluate whether or not it meets <br /> its intended goals and does so in manner that is consistent with operation of Alviso Adobe <br /> Community Park and the recently adopted Strategic Plan for the Park. If the City <br /> determines the parking on Old Foothill Road must be eliminated, the parties will develop <br /> replacement parking on the southern portion (or another desired location) of the Austin <br /> property. The cost of this parking lot will be shared 50%-S0%. <br /> 4 <br />
