Summary of Draft MOU <br /> with <br /> City of .Pleasanton <br /> Castleridge Staging Area <br /> ✓ District commits to "diligently pursue completion of the Garms Staging <br /> area." <br /> ✓ District commits to completing Garms Staging area in 5 years. <br /> ✓ City waives all review and permitting fees for Garms. <br /> ✓ Castleridge improvements are completed within one (i) year and <br /> Castleridge trailhead can then be opened to public. <br /> ✓ District pays for parking improvements along old Foothill road and all costs <br /> associated with creating the Castleridge trailhead. improvements include <br /> creation of trail, necessary roadway improvements to allow 45-50 new <br /> parking spaces, a water fountain, a vault toilet, a gate across the EVMA <br /> access driveway that serves the two neighbors. <br /> ✓ City pays for crosswalk over Foothill Road and intersection with Old <br /> Foothill Road. <br /> ✓ City waives all review and permit fees Castleridge. <br /> ✓ City provides compliance with CEQA and Agency permits for Castleridge <br /> trail connection. <br /> ✓ District operates Castleridge under a license until Garms is completed. <br /> ✓ MOU terminates in five (5) years. Either party can terminate on 90 day <br /> notice if a breach of agreement is not cured by either party. <br /> ✓ City and District will evaluate success of interim parking in the future and if <br /> it is determined that parking on Old Foothill Road is conflicting with Alviso <br /> 8 <br />
