The prior 1995 City Council Rules and Operating Procedures <br /> referenced certain provisions that were not included in that action. These include City <br /> Councilmembers' continuing eligibility for certain health and welfare benefits, and <br /> reimbursement policy and procedures for City Councilmembers; therefore, this item is to <br /> update these provisions. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Adopt a resolution reauthorizing City Council eligibility for certain health and welfare <br /> benefits; and adopt a resolution establishing a travel reimbursement policy for elected <br /> and appointed officials. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> These policies update existing policies and practices and would not result in any new <br /> fiscal impacts. <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br />
